Most recently, Tracey Kumar has served as an assistant professor and the coordinator of the Teacher Development program at Southeastern Louisiana University. In this dual role, she has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, facilitated workshops on topics such as communication, literacy (reading & writing), and college/career success, assisted struggling students through individualized instruction and personalized improvement plans, and engaged in a variety of scholarly (e.g., writing, presentations) and service-related endeavors (e.g., committees, events). In a professional capacity, Tracey especially enjoys designing and implementing student-centered learning, promoting intercultural understanding and acceptance, and helping undergraduate students achieve personal and professional success. In a personal capacity, Tracey enjoys working out, spending time with family (including her dog, Shadow), and visiting places of interest such as museums, restaurants, and historical sites.
