I am an enthusiastic and committed teacher who finds joy in helping students succeed. For a decade, I have worked diligently to improve my teaching by integrating insights from my graduate studies, college teaching, and other education-related activities (e.g., inquiry-based projects, continuing education). These experiences have afforded me a deeper understanding of literacy and pedagogy, and prepared me to provide high quality literacy instruction to students in developmental reading and writing and in secondary education programs.
